Drake and Jordan Brand are back at it again. After successfully releasing the 2016 Jordan Shoes silhouette in two “OVO” themed colorways, the two empires get ready to keep the hype alive, announcing an OVO x Air Jordan 12 Retro for Summer ’16. First previewed in the 2014, the sneaker features a white stingray leather and premium leather on the upper with gold accents on the Jumpman branding and lace eyelets. The Air Jordan 10 City Pack first went international with Rio, but now London is officially in the mix. Dark grey and gold highlight the London edition, with “broken-in” leather effect around the lacing.Known as the Nike Kobe 11 Black Mamba, the pair features University Red and Black caution stripes on the midfoot strap, a heel that spells out ‘Kyrie’ in bold black and white block letters, and a clean white base.
It’s been nearly a week since the 2016 Jordans have played a game. With plenty of rest, one has to wonder if Cleveland can accomplish another 4-0 sweep of their next opponent – the injured and tired Toronto Raptors or the equally hurt and struggling Miami Heat. Having Kyrie Irving waiting in the wings is definitely helpful, as the Cavs’ star point guard has tortured the Eastern Conference with an array of crossovers and three-pointers en route to some of the best basketball he’s ever played. Nike Basketball’s latest Kyrie 2 colorway references Irving’s ability to bruise the ankles and ego of any defender guarding him with a vibrant and graphic-heavy take on his second signature.
With the 2016 Jordan 12 OVO Black release of both the “Chicago” and “Los Angeles” iterations scheduled for this weekend, we deliver your very first look at the “London” version from the Air Jordan 10 “City Pack.” Manifesting in a two-toned color-blocked colorway, the model features a darker grey hue around its tongue, lacing system and ankle collar, which appears to be cracking for a marble or distressed aesthetic. Additional details include a gold Jumpman on each heel, a gold “LDN” embroidery towards the ankle, and a list of Michael Jordan’s milestones from 1985-94, as seen on all jordan shoes models.
